Health officials have confirmed another confirmed case of COVID-19 in The Bahamas.
The latest case is on Grand Bahama. The patient is a 57-year-old woman with no history of travel and no known direct link to previous cases, officials said. She is hospitalized in stable condition.
This brings the number of confirmed cases in The Bahamas to 15 — three on Grand Bahama and 12 on New Providence.
“Health officials continue to follow the condition of the other 14 COVID-19 positive cases,” a statement from the Ministry of Health states.
“Case [number] 12 has now been hospitalized and receiving supportive management. However, all previous cases remain in stable condition and are in isolation at home.”
