Two COVID-19 patients die in hospital

Two of the people who tested positive for COVID-19 died in hospital overnight, the Ministry of Health confirmed today.

“Investigations are being conducted into the details surrounding the cases. More information will be forthcoming at the scheduled Ministry of Health press conference today at 5 p.m.,” a Ministry of Health statement said.

“Members of the public are once again reminded to follow the Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Order announced by Prime Minister, the Most Honourable Dr. Hubert Minnis to reduce the spread of the virus, including physical distancing.”

The country has confirmed 24 cases of COVID-19 — 18 on New Providence, five on Grand Bahama and one on Bimini.
